Casual Ilbira Granada participates in the May Crosses Festival
02/05/2024May 2, 2024. Almost 5 months old, the centrally located hotel Casual Ilbira Granada is already fully integrated into the city square. Proof of this is the tribute it will pay tomorrow, May 3rd, to the city's cultural heritage, coinciding with the celebration of the "Cruces de Mayo" (May Crosses) festival.
To celebrate such a unique date, Casual Ilbira Granada has created its own cross which, as tradition dictates, will include a "pero" (apple) pierced by scissors, with the aim of warding off any possible "buts" (a pun on the Spanish word for apple) to its design. Standing 2 meters high and 1.21 meters wide, the cross has been decorated with the pink, yellow, green, and blue colors characteristic of Casual Hoteles.
In addition to this initiative, which aims to immerse itself in the customs of Granada, the establishment will offer a plate of “habas y salaillas” (fava beans and local bread) to clients staying at the hotel that day who visit its charming reception between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
With all this, Casual Ilbira Granada aims to promote the attractions of Granada, just as it already does with the thematic designs of its rooms, which feature some of the best-known corners of the city such as the Calle de las Teterías, the Generalife Garden, the Paseo de los Tristes, the Sacromonte Caves, or even Sierra Nevada, among many others.
